Cotton Waffle Towels: A Guide to Sizes, Colours and Everyday Use

Waffle weave towels look different from a classic terry towel for a reason. Instead of loops, the fabric is woven into small honeycomb-shaped cells that trap less water in the material itself, so the towel stays lighter, dries faster, and takes up far less space in a cupboard or a beach bag.

What makes waffle weave different

Our waffle towels are woven from 100% cotton. The honeycomb structure increases the surface area that touches your skin, which is part of why waffle towels feel so absorbent despite being thinner and lighter than a terry towel of the same size. They also fold flat, so a stack of them takes up noticeably less shelf space — useful in a small bathroom, a sauna bag, or a suitcase.

Sizes: from mini to XXL

Because the fabric is so versatile, we make it in six sizes, from a small 30 × 50 cm guest or face towel up to a 140 × 200 cm format that works as a beach towel, a sauna wrap, or even a light throw:

• 30 × 50 cm — face or guest towel
• 50 × 70 cm — hand towel
• 70 × 140 cm — everyday bath towel
• 100 × 140 cm — bath sheet
• 100 × 200 cm — large bath sheet or sauna towel
• 140 × 200 cm — beach towel, sauna wrap or throw (available in select colours)

26 colours — and counting

Colour is where our waffle towels really set themselves apart: we currently offer 26 active colours, from warm terracotta and dusty pink tones to petrol blue, sage green and classic off-white. That range means you can build a full bathroom palette, pick a separate set for the kitchen, or simply add a new shade each season without buying a whole new range.

Where they work best

Because they're light and dry quickly, waffle towels move easily between rooms and routines: bathroom and kitchen at home, sauna and travel bag on the road, beach and picnic blanket in summer.

Made in Latvia

The fabric is woven in the Netherlands, then cut and sewn into finished towels here in Latvia 🇱🇻. Care is simple: machine wash at 40–60°C and tumble dry if you like — no special handling needed.
